http://bit.ly/nkjwKd Iron Man by Black Sabbath is one of my 5 easy guitar songs because of the simple chord progression. Not only is this song easy to play, it sounds powerful. This song is the beginning of metal guitar. Since the songs release in 1970, a lot of notable bands have re-made a cover of "Iron Man."Â Iron Man has also been used in many TV show, films and, or course, sporting events. Since the 1976 release of Black Sabbath's 'We Sold Our Soul for Rock 'n' Roll' album, "Iron Man", by no surprise, has been included in subsequent Black Sabbath greatest hits compilations. Even the sound track of the 2008 comic book film, Iron Man, included the "Iron Man" song. This song should be on everyone's favorite "easy guitar songs to learn" list. Below is the guitar tab for Iron Man. This is a public guitar tab transcribed, but not original. There are many ways to play this song, and I believe Tony Iommi has played it different ways while performing live. Now stop reading and start learning this guitar song!

Easy Guitar Songs For Beginners
http://bit.ly/o3mxcX While you are at the absolute beginner stage of learning electric guitar, it is very important to learn full songs. Besides the obvious – that you can play the songs you learn for your friends - playing actual songs instead of scales or chord changes is mandatory, because it will make you a better player. You can’t learn timing and foot-tapping by drilling scales; you can’t learn strumming patterns by changing chords all the time. Things like these come only from playing songs—and playing them a lot. This article will show and explain how to play 3 very popular easy guitar songs and, perhaps more importantly, explain why you should learn them.
The Jimi Hendrix version is too hard for a beginner, but Wild Thing is a song that numerous players learn first. Why? Because it forces the basic chord changes to happen fast, even if the learner was sloppy before, and you can easily add additional strumming patterns to this song to spice it up. The basic chord sequence is A D E D, and you can simply strum each chord once to get the feel and start working from there. Guitar Tab: Wild Thing by The Troggs
Polly by Nirvana
Polly is a song about rape… from a rapist’s perspective. Festivities aside, this song illustrates beautiful use of power chords on the acoustic guitar—but it will sound good on both. Intro chords: E5 G5 D5 C5; then D5 C5 G5 A5 when the "isn’t me… have a seed" part starts. This song is great to learn for beginners, because it both encourages the player to learn at least some of the notes on the two thickest strings, and the natural rhythm plus the basic structure makes this song ridiculously easy to play and sing at the same time. Smoke on The Water by Deep Purple
This is an obvious one, and easy. The main gain of learning to play this riff, besides learning a part of the pentatonic scale and learning to pick two strings at a time, is that it sounds gorgeous! This song doesn’t consist of chords, so it is best to read it from a tab—separate lesson, if you don’t know how to do it… And press down the strings with the index and middle finger, makes you look better.
Guitar tab: Smoke on The Water
Remember that once you learn these easy guitar songs, search for new songs to learn, as you will only learn new techniques on guitar by playing new songs. Polly is the hardest on this list… but the most rewarding in my opinion—once you learn to play and sing at the same time, the guitar becomes a lot more fun. Now go pick one of these easy guitar songs, find the tab online, and start learning!

Easy Guitar Songs To Play
http://bit.ly/qJSG8X Often times, when someone picks up the guitar for the first time, the first thing they want to do is learn their favorite songs. However, if your favorite song happens to be Van Halen’s "Eruption", you’re going to need a bit more experience. Beginners are better off starting with easy guitar songs that also sound good, so they don’t become discouraged and hang up the instrument before they’ve even begun to learn. If the idea of playing guitar seems intimidating, don’t worry, the best thing about playing rock n' roll guitar is that it's easy. Most popular rock and pop songs over the last fifty years or so have used the same basic chord structures for the simple reason that it sounds good. In addition, rock guitar's signature technique, the power chord, is in thousands of songs, and almost anyone can learn to form a power chord in a matter of hours. So if you're new to guitar, or just want some easy guitar songs to jam on, here's a few to start with.
The Ramones' "Blitzkrieg Bop". Made up of the same three power chords for its entire two minute length, this is one of the quintessential punk rock songs. One of the cool things about this song is that it’ll help you learn to strum faster. Once you’ve played it for awhile, try playing it with all down-strokes, the real punk way to strum.
Just about any Nirvana song. When I first started playing electric guitar I bought Nirvana’s greatest hits CD and learned every song on it. Most of Kurt Cobain’s riffs were rooted in punk and slowed down to give a really nasty, heavy sound. Pick up any Nirvana record, and chances are you can figure them out by ear, yeah, the "solos" too.
All of the above songs are fairly easy guitar songs to learn, even if you’ve just started playing guitar. The more I play guitar, the more I've realized that sometimes the most enjoyable things to play are also the easiest. I guess that’s why they call it playing guitar right?
